Unique watches

MB&F Thunderbolt
MB&F's latest "horological machine"
has two titanium and sapphire cases inspired by the P-47 thunderbolt
aircraft. The two dials indicate time and power reserve. All 311 of
the watch's components were designed exclusively for this watch
over a period of three years and are a marvel of engineering. The
sapphire crystals circling each case, which allow views into the intricate
interior movement of the watch, require 100 hours of machining.

H8 Sculptura Watch?
Whilst this looks like a watch it pushes the definition to the limit. Its certainly a triumph of the aesthetic over the practical and could not be called a "timepiece" since time is not displayed, but would fit within the definition of a watch as a piece of jewellery.
The unique construction features only a beautifully crafted tourbillion in the center and nothing else. The sculptura is a piece of art that looks great while its not telling you the time.

Steven Goetz "Watch 3"
Designer Steven Goetz has come up with a clever watch. The numerals are located on the underside of the sapphire crystal and are the same bright white as the face. They only become visible when the black hour hand passes between the numerals and the face.
For added visibility at night the entire face is coated with a
phosphorescent paint based on the luminescence of deep sea fish.

Volna Volnatomic Liquid Tourbillon
Volna's stunning creation features Cold War-inspired shapes resembling cut-out bridges, high-powered tanks, and an atomic reactor.Yellow paint on the watch face contains Super-LumiNova pigment, reminiscent of uranium storage pools. The "tanks" embedded in the face contain blue fluid. In the dark, the paint and fluid illuminate the face like a carnival of symbols, simulating the dangerous, glowing interior of a Cold War-era nuclear submarine.

Quinting Transparent Watch
This watch is quite a mystery since there appears to be no visible means of a movement to drive the hands,
very intriguing and clever. The Quinting watches claim to be the worlds first transparent watches.
The quartz movement is hidden inside the case around the transparent dial. The hands appear to operate with a mind of their own, but they are actually connected to the movement motors by a series of sapphire crystal discs.

RSW Wonderland Ladies Watch
RSW has created a cleverly crafted timepiece that puts the web-like design of the steel case front and center, literally, while tucking the tiny watch face in a corner.
The style is the story here; the structural quality of the watch functions as much as jewelry as it does a timepiece.
Options include different colors for the face and case and accents of diamonds.

Azimuth Spaceship Watch
The Azimuth Spaceship watch comes with a jumping hour dial that makes up the body of a stylized, skeleton rocketship. The nose of the ship functions as the minute hand, while a rotating image of the earth doubles as a seconds indicator.
The face of this unusual watch is studded with tiny lights that represent the night sky.

Urwerk UR-CC1 Black Cobra
The Cobra, of which only 25 were
made, looks like a pre-digital AM/FM radio dial or speedo from an American muscle car, but it is anything but retro in function. The hour indicator "jumps" from one to the next, the minutes turn on a
retrograde cylinder, and the seconds spin on a wheel on the top that displays time both digitally and linearly through a photolithographic
production process! This formidable timepiece took three years to
perfect and was worth the wait.
