UTS GMT Professional 2000m (6,000 Feet)
Sporting a powerful, solid looking case the GMT Pro is machined and hand assembled in Germany. Still quite a young company, UTS was formed in 1991 they have since built a reputation for producing high quality dive watches.
Some of the GMT Pro’s features are a divers bezel which moves in both directions using ceramic ball bearings and has a bezel locking mechanism (at the 2 o’clock position) which is unique to UTS.
The 5mm thick sapphire crystal is not only glued in place but also held down by a massive stainless steel ring fixed in place with 7 hex screws. The assembly works so well that it makes a helium valve unnecessary.
It comes in three colours, the anthracite grey version being particularly attractive which subtley contrasts with the surgical stainless steel case. Also in white and Black.
